Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, at Stavanger) is the name of a Norwegian music producer and a singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 by Decca Records. It has been praised by the blogs and the press. Half the World Away from the band Oasis was recorded for an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is an Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry posted a video that she supported Runaway. It earned her some recognition. It was her birthday. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering an instrument hidden in her attic, then becoming enthralled by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes, her parents, May Britt Aksnes, and Jan Oystein Aksnes, encouraged their daughter to learn music as a passion rather than a profession. So she started writing her own songs. She credits renowned composers Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as an affinity for Bjork's style. After her mom told her that her songs would not just help her get noticed, but also make others see their importance within the global community and see how they can benefit from the songs and her music, she was inspired to start playing in front of the public. When she was six, she began to play the piano. At age nine, she, started writing songs. The family members didn't know about it until she turned 14. It was never a dream to become Aurora. She claims that she enjoys composing songs. Music to her is the only method to experience anything.
